Jody Leng, M.D., M.S.
My name is Jody Leng, and I’m a board certified anesthesiologist, fellowship trained in regional anesthesiology. I did both my residency and fellowship training at Stanford, and am now thrilled to be working with Stanford residents as a part time attending at both Stanford Hospital and the VA in Palo Alto.
Toward the second half of my fellowship, many of my colleagues (senior residents and fellows), would confide in me their plans to go into private practice soon and the fact that the last nerve block they did was many moons ago. I started giving many one-on-one “regional refresher” tutorials in these cases, and decided to record them on video, to reach a larger audience and perhaps to be used as a last minute refresher. I hope the block videos are concise and useful. They are meant to be refreshers for those already trained in regional anesthesia.
